The breakfasts were amazing-second to none! We also enjoyed canoeing which took us through beautiful landmarks. The location is perfect. It's a short walk to the town along the riverbank, and the outdoor area is lovely. The garden is well-maintained.
Our only issue was the noisy plumbing from the room above us during the night, which woke us up a couple of times.

Couples seeking a nice getaway
The view from our room was amazing. Waking up and seeing the river while sipping on our morning coffee felt surreal and like we were living in a dream. The breakfast,, oh man, it was fresh and high quality, everything we hoped for from a getaway, really sets the tone for the day.
Sure, it wasn't exactly budget-friendly. But worth every penny.

Lovely River Views, Unique Honesty Bar Experience, Fine Garden and Outdoor Area
Noise from the road can be quite disruptive at night, especially with open windows!!! The bathrooms need more shower options instead of just a handheld attachment, which isn't ideal for all guests.

The breakfast in the conservatory was scrumptious, especially the muffin topped with scrambled eggs and smoked salmon-what a treat! The honesty bar in the lounge was a cool spot to unwind after a day of exploring Ross-on-Wye. Can't forget the fine views of the River Wye from our room. It was like a postcard.
Sadly, the creaky floorboards in our room were a bit of a nuisance at night-woke us up when one of us had to. The lack of a proper shower could be an issue for the fussier guests. Just a handheld setup.

Perfect for a Relaxing Stay
The views of the town and river were fine, especially at sunrise. The bed was super comfy and the shower? Wow, it really gets you going! Breakfast was great with homemade hash browns and the best poached eggs ever. Just wished the lounge could've been open later, but no biggie.
